THE UNDERTAKER FALLS TO BROCK LESNAR, ENDING WRESTLEMANIA’S GREATEST STREAK. By Mass Appeal News

NEW ORLEANS – Apparently, all great things come to an end. In a shocking development, professional wrestling saw its greatest streak severed on Sunday inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome when The Undertaker, 49, lost to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX, ending his unbeaten WrestleMania streak at 21 matches. The Undertaker was rushed to an area hospital after the fight to receive treatment for a concussion. He was released Monday morning.

An announced attendance of 75,167 witnessed the stunner with ticket sale revenue exceeding $11 million. The streak, which began at WrestleMania VII in 1991, has been an anchor of pay-per-view the past couple decades.

During his incredible 21-0 run, The Undertaker laid to rest the likes of Ric Flair, Triple H, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and King Kong Bundy.

But Lesnar was obviously too stiff a challenge to extend the streak, leaving fans in the wrestling world both bewildered and stunned. Thousands of viewers took to social media, with The Undertaker’s shocking demise trending as the world’s most talked about topic.
